I have always had a love of the outdoors and always enjoyed wandering in the countryside, climbing mountains, and a wide range of other activities.   In 2015 I trained as a fitness instructor and personal trainer and began my journey into helping others become the best version of themselves.

Having been overweight myself and having been around and helped people with anxiety and depression  I understood the difficulties people faced, to not only lose weight but to feel comfortable in their own skin, feel worthy or to regain a sense of belonging so my focus has always taken a holistic approach to wellness and wellbeing.

Over this time I have met some amazing people for which I am extremely grateful but one thing I have noticed is that we all have struggles, we all have challenges in our lives which need to be dealt with if we are to achieve our wellbeing goals.

For many of us these challenges are the visible physical ones or simply lack of motivation but for others these challenges come in the form of invisible mental health challenges where we have lost confidence in ourselves for whatever reason, feel helpless and don't know where to turn, even lost and scared like a bunny in the headlights. Adventure Monkey is here to help change this

I wanted to create a place where I could address all of the challenges associated with wellbeing and hopefully provide useful information and real life stories from others who may be in the same position as you.

I know that taking part in activities can provide a massive sense of belonging to those who feel they have lost their way.  Getting out into the fresh air and enjoying what the world has to offer can help relieve stress and promote a positive sense of wellbeing as well as a sense of achievement.

Meeting others and sharing and making memories is a great way feel a part of something worthwhile.

I hope you find these pages useful, please have a look around, read our articles and why not try out some of the adventures and activities provided by our amazing group of suppliers.

Lastly if you have your own story you would share with us we would be more than happy to share it on this site ( anonymously if you wish) you never know you may well help someone else see that life is for living.
